Parent Partnership

The Parent-Teacher Community (PTC) is a group of parents who love our school and are dedicated to growing, benefitting and serving The Covenant School.

The PTC’s objective is to support the mission of The Covenant School and Office of the Head of School by fostering positive relationships and communication among the administration, faculty, staff and parents.

The PTC serves as a source of information for parents about the ins and outs of upcoming school activities, volunteer needs, community fellowship, and school spirit. Our hope is that through participation in the PTC, we will all foster new friends, have fun, and discover the unique gifts God has bestowed upon each of us!

What does the PTC do in collaboration with Parents?

At The Covenant School, service is the foundation of our mission and faith. Each year, the PTC organizes the service structure for each grade at the Birdwood campus and each House at the Hickory campus. These activities include Parent Prayer, Faculty & Staff support, events such as the Fall Fest, Book Fair, Spring Carnival, and others.

PTC Board Member

Through my involvement with the PTC, I have been able to connect with other families from both campuses, and I have appreciated the opportunity to work together with administrators to serve the needs of the school. It is a true community.

  • Get Involved

You can help support Covenant while shopping. Small gestures yield great dividends!
(Please note, if you have signed up previously, you’ll need to do so again as it expires each year.)

Box Tops for Education – No More Clipping! This year General Mills has transitioned to a phone app, rather than clipping box tops. The app is easy to download and set up. It also allows you to see how much has been raised this year. Please note, when establishing your account, search under 22903 to find Covenant. The Birdwood campus address will be listed, but the funds will benefit the PTC and both locations. Once established, you will just need to scan your grocery receipts to earn funds for the School. More information on downloading and scanning can be found at https://www.boxtops4education.com/. Keep sending the clipped Box Tops.  We will still be able to redeem the clipped box tops, so continue to bring those to the box in the front lobby.

    onCampus Headshots
There’s no better way to get to know each other, help our teachers and build community than the ability to place a face to a name. Covenant’s OnCampus directory is a perfect way to do it, but we need your participation in order for it to work. Just login to OnCampus and upload a headshot of yourself to your profile. If you already have one, make sure it’s possible to see your face clearly and/or upload an updated one if needed.  And keep in mind, your child/children already has/have a photo on OC. :)

A brief tutorial is available that shows how to upload your headshot to OnCampus via both mobile or desktop.  We look forward to seeing you!
