We are excited to announce the launch of the Eagle Fund, an annual. athletics-focused giving campaign that will function alongside our existing Covenant Fund. The introduction and launch of the Eagle Fund is intended to support our growing commitment to Covenant Athletics as we seek to fulfill the goals established in our multi-year strategic plan, which we began in August of 2023. In the Fall of 2023, we partnered with Southern Teachers Agency to assess and benchmark our annual financial investment in our growing athletics program. The final report from this assessment provided the necessary data, benchmarks, and recommendations to equip our administration in the creation of a strategic initiative aimed at increasing our commitment to Covenant Athletics in a manner that is consistent with both our gospel-centered mission and best-practices.
Please join us at Common House on Saturday, November 16 from 6:00-9:00 p.m. for an Eagle Fund fundraising event. You can RSVP by purchasing a ticket for a fun-filled evening. In addition to spending time with each of you, we are blessed that UVA Wrestling Coach Steve Garland will be our guest speaker. If you or your business is interested in sponsoring this event, please let us know. We are excited to see you there – please help spread the word!
We will increase our coach's stipends, equipment, and supplies to a level consistent with the comparable mean of other independent schools (according to the Southern Teachers Athletic Team Statistics - STATS).
This program, available to all Covenant student-athletes at no additional cost, while also supporting our existing programs and the training philosophies of our coaches.
The future Athletic Trainer will develop a cohort of student trainers to support our teams, coaches, and players through appropriate treatment, and injury prevention methods.
